Our Story ....
2006-Prior to
Moving
In January, prior to moving, the church was given 38 acres of land in
Ringgold, GA where the first Springs Church will be built.
2006-The Springs Opens Doors in Catoosa County
The Springs Community Church began in Catoosa County September 10th,
2006. The church was started by 3 families who moved from Atlanta to
Ringgold, GA to plant a church that was to be relevant, bold and
exciting.
They dreamed of people coming to Christ and having authentic
relationships with Him and those around us. We wanted a place where God
could be easily understood and the worship would be “off the hook.”
2006-New Place to Grow
After about 3 months of not growing very much at the old American
Legion building we decided to make a faith and risky move to the
theater in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Once at the theater our children’s
ministries expanded and the congregation grew. Our first service in the
theater was December 3rd, 2006. This was to be one of the best moves
for us as a church and we knew we were following the call of Christ
when we saw the congregation grow double in size with-in a few months.
2008/Today - New, New Place To Grow
After a very successful stint in the theatre the desire to have a
building to call our own so we could have a permanent presence in our
community finally became real. Through much prayer and fasting
God provided us use of the old "New Manna Baptist Church"
building. We were allowed to make changes to have it work
accordingly to what we needed.
Where We're Going
Christ is continuing to do great things with the church and with the
vision of HIS church. We wait in anticipation for the next move Christ
has us do. With that in mind, we see lives and families being changed.
We see lives being restored and new lives beginning. This is a place
where the Bible comes to life and where it connects to your everyday
life. Come be a part of something bigger than yourself.
