Serving ....

Take a look beyond yourself .. what do you see?

• poor and wounded people in our own counties in need of a simple meal...clothes...and even shelter.

• a generation who is passionate to know, serve and follow Jesus, but are stuck not knowing how to get started.

• a world that has not experienced the loving revolution of the genuine Christ.

The vision of the Springs Missions lies in this scripture verse...Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Here is what this means for how we see the world:
Jerusalem: Local area mission work
Judea: Our geographic region (North GA and Chattanooga area) missions.
Samaria: Our country mission involvement and to people we're "not comfortable" with.
Ends of the Earth: Outside our country.

Things we have done:

• Helped rebuild New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina..
• Christ's Chapel in Catoosa County
• Appalachian Service Project
• Given away cars to a few people in need in local community.
  
• Christmas Eve Service Project where we feed people in need from Catoosa Co.
• Homeless Breakfast - once a month we provide a breakfast for the homeless and needy in downtown chattanooga.
• Snowcones for underpriviledged children in community.
• Helped families who couldn't pay for utilities
• Found housing for families who have lost homes in community.
